Please join us at August Camp this year! We will be Into The Woods at Tower Hill in Sawyer, Michigan.
Come and relive all your favorite childhood fairytale characters for a fun time frolicking in the woods. There will be jousting contests, pin the crown on the princess, find the glass slipper, relay races and much more.
There will be a costume parade with you dressed up as your favorite character. It doesn’t have to be the traditional Snow White and Cinderella. Here are a few suggestions: Pinocchio, Jack in the Bean Stock, Blue Beard, Rose Red, Puss & Boots, Pied Piper, Big Bad Wolf, Humpty Dumpty, Rumpelstiltskin, Rapunzel. I have lots more.
There will be free style and ballroom dances and board games and a campfire and a coffee house. There will also be more art and joke telling.
And don’t forget to bring something for the Camp Show!

Morning Groups
- We will play on the King’s Playground with Croquet and Bocce Ball.
- Also a Queen’s discussion group, title to come.
- The Crown Jewels group will be making simple Earrings for the Ball or any special event. And a Spiral Bracelet or Necklace. Ear wire and clasps can be purchased for a small fee, or you can bring your own.
- Tending the King’s Gold will be “Making Investing Easy”.
- Line dancing will be offered for beginners and seasoned dancers. You will need shoes that will move easily and a water bottle.
